Zhou Yuxian Meets with Sika Asia Pacific President Philippe Jost

On May 21, Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group (CNBM), met with Philippe Jost, President of Sika Asia Pacific, and his delegation at the Group headquarters. The two sides held discussions on practical cooperation and exploring the global market.

Zhou Yuxian welcomed Philippe Jost and his delegation, introducing CNBM's overall business layout and sharing progress in its green, intelligent, and international transformation. He stated that as both CNBM and Sika operate in the materials industry, they have significant potential for industrial synergy in areas like basic building materials and chemical building materials. They could jointly explore circular economy fields such as blade recycling and construction waste treatment, and engage in close cooperation in technological innovation and standard setting. Zhou emphasized that CNBM adopts a global perspective and is actively implementing its "Ten-Year Rebuilding" internationalization strategy. He expressed hope for future collaboration with Sika in jointly developing third-country markets and promoting green, low-carbon, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly integrated solutions, contributing the wisdom of the materials industry to global economic development.

Philippe Jost thanked Zhou Yuxian for the warm reception and expressed admiration for CNBM's achievements in the materials industry. He provided an overview of Sika's business layout. Jost highlighted Sika's long-term dedication to the chemical building materials sector, providing innovative solutions for industries like automotive and construction. He noted vast potential for cooperation between the two companies in concrete admixtures and new energy materials. Sika places high importance on the Chinese market, having established its second-largest global R&D center in Suzhou. Jost expressed hope to leverage China as a base while looking globally to comprehensively advance cooperation with CNBM in industrial and R&D fields.

Prior to the meeting, Philippe Jost and his delegation toured the Group exhibition hall.
